As an openly gay woman, I wouldn’t go too far back in time.

50s for me. Life was more simple
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
I'm more than okay with the current one.
I don't think people like me would last a day in any prior ones

This one is fine. People are the same whenever.
DaughteroftheDevil · 41-45, F
@Colonelmustardseed love that.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
I feel like I was in the right place at the right time.
A child in the 80s, a teen in the 90s and an adult in the 00s. I’m not crazy about this decade - it feels like people have collectively lost their minds. But that aside it’s been a blast 👌🏻

@Kae20 I pretty much said the same.

@Kae20 1970 was effectively the last of the sixties. The world was innocent then.
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
The 1920s seem like they would have been fun. Jazz and speakeasies.
TheOneyouwerewarnedabout · 46-50, MVIP
Can I pick another dimension instead?… 😑
DaughteroftheDevil · 41-45, F
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Only if you take me with you.
darkmere1983 · 46-50, M
1960s britain, for its freedoms.
PinkMoon · 26-30, F
The precolonial era before any colonizers invaded my country and destroyed our way of life.

@PinkMoon The Dutch, Portugese, French, English, and Spanish, did massive cultural damage globally for roughly 400+ years.
WizardofOz · 26-30, M
80's. My parents grew up in that era and looking at their pics and old videos intrigue me. It just seemed like a really cool time to grow up in.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@WizardofOz I liked the 80s too, but they turned to the 2000s at some point!
WizardofOz · 26-30, M
@Bumbles That's my era.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@WizardofOz whatever you heard it’s all true.
bugeye · 26-30, F
Id hop back to the 90's. Video game companies werent a complete ripoff and actually made original games, top tier cartoons/music and bitcoin was cheaper.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Any further back then when I was born, I wouldn't have survived... Born 10 years earlier so I could experience more of the 80's would have been nice.

Civilized, no iPhones, men wore hats, far fewer crowds, people, less marketing, better music, movies, culture, NYC, SF

@Bumbles Nice hats need to make a comeback.
Rambler · 61-69, M
My personal era has become pretty long by now so I think I'll settle for what I've had, thanks
deadgerbil · 26-30
This one. Not really interested in dealing with the overt bs of the 1960s and beyond as a mixed person
smiler2012 · 61-69
@DaughteroftheDevil 🤫i would of loved too of been say ten years older than i am and have been around the music was so more superior
akindheart · 61-69, F
i think i have lived in the best eras even if the w orld is messed up.
chasingThursday · 36-40, M
The ‘80s, seems like a fun time. I was too young to really remember it
Disguised · 56-60, M
Not really an era.... But back to basics... Reset the clock.... Caveman time.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
Industrial revolution era seems interesting

1963-1973 would be my choice.

DaughteroftheDevil · 41-45, F
@TheLordOfHell Yes and she is ace. And naughty. Probably should be sectioned if we're honest.

the garden of Eden era
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
I’d relive the 90s, best years to be alive
I'd love to go back to Portland of the 70's as an adult.
Colonelmustardseed · 36-40
@NativePortlander1970 I’m glad I was able to visit there (the one in Oregon, if that’s where you mean) in 2006. It was gorgeous. My sister lived there for a bit, maybe a few years later, and said it was overrun with methheads. 😔
But the giant bookstore, the gardens, and that it catered to walkers and bicyclists was perfect for me back then. 🙂
(The mist made my hair frizzier though. Lol)

@Colonelmustardseed The calis brought the meth
@Colonelmustardseed As for Powell's Books, it was among my top favorite places to hang out on my days off from work.
