i know i have been joking all night and stuff but, serious question

I grew up in an abusive home but do not crave it. To the contrary I promised that my kids would never go through any of that. And they did not. I also strive for a peaceful home environment. That too has been true for the most part.

I have closed my eyes and pictured myself breaking everything in a room from shear frustration and turmoil but I never do and I've never felt like someone needed to physically hurt me. Psychology does enough on its own.

I think living like that we don't really crave beating ,we crave normal and in the upside down world of child abuse normal becomes anything that is consistent at least for me it was . Life constantly changed minute to minute, one day no abuse but knowing tomorrow could be different . One day in this foster home next day a different one . Going from the i'm sorry to the you deserve it ,nothing stayed the same . Even though it sucked it was the only thing in my world that didn't change . It became normal. This probably makes no sense it's hard to explain .

I read of that, but in manners of psychological abuse. In your case I'd have guessed the opposite, like beating someone.

My brain got sort of fucked up in the hospital and I kinda crave drama. So, I kinda get it.

I grew up in a fucked up hone. My mom would beat me, I was sexually abused (not by my parents). I don’t crave that though.
