@Sojournersoul I was referencing the immigration bill that Trump tanked. It had spending for both Ukraine and Israel included.

Regarding this "no tax on tips" I have read the Ted Cruz version and it appears to have a huge hole, that would allow, for example, hedge fund folks to claim that their 'commissions' were now 'tips' and give them an outrageous tax deduction.

While Harris has not laid out all of the plan, she specifically said 'no tax on tips for service workers.' That tells me that guardrails would be placed so that those outside the service industry could not take advantage.

Reality tells me nothing on this 'no tax on tips' will occur until the election. Even then, a bill must pass Congress before the president signs it into law.
