No Taxes and on tips

Heard that last night at a rally in Nevada, then heard the press secretary say the president supports it. What a great idea, who said they could not come up with good policies. I wonder why they never tried to pass it the last 4 years.

I know it was said on Jun 9th in another rally but does it rally matter who came up with the idea?

So, if you make $10,000 a year in tips you shouldn't pay taxes on that income, but if you get $10,000 in hourly wages you SHOULD pay taxes on it?? Screw that. Implement a fair tax code and everybody pays a fair share, regardless of the source of the income.

I agree, it should be certain percentage across the board, but until then, this is a start.

@calicuz At start at unfair taxation? And how soon will it be before stockbrokers, etc. figure out how to get paid in "tips"?? It's a joke.

You're absolutely right.

@ChipmunkErnie I have to laugh at this. Whatever happened to the "pay your fair share" argument? LOL. Ok, so if I take you at your word, what if the tax code changes and everyone making over (pick number here) pays a flat rate of 15%?

@ChipmunkErnie Correct....suddenly 'commissions' will become 'tips.'
