The astronomer in me was skeptical until three of us saw one above us while on an evening stroll in moorhead, MN back in '79. Assuming that the clouds were at 700 feet it was at least 50 feet in diameter and had colored lights going around it. There was no sound. It was going against the wind towards Fargo.

I certainly think we are not alone in the vastness of the universe. I believe there are beings far superior to us out there somewhere.

I have no reason to believe that any have visited us, however. And I [i]have[/i] had one of those "unexplainable UFO" experiences. I saw an object with multi-colored lights at night, hovering along absolutely silently. I stood in awe.....until finally I could hear the chopping sound of helicopter blades. But it was amazing how close it had to get before I could hear it. When I did, the object ceased being a UFO (unidentified) and became an IFO (identified) flying object.

I think it's highly likely that life exists elsewhere in the universe beyond earth. Whether or not alien life has actually visited earth is highly questionable.
