I like the older country music the best

Any music is cool if it's what you like, don't be a cookie cutter.

I like classic country, but not the current version. I'll stick with Willie, Waylon, Reba, and that bunch. Obviously, I'm old.

It's hard to say. Personally I think Johnny Cash and Dwight Yoakam are pretty cool. I also like Roger Miller but he's not very cool. The ones that maybe considered cool these days are the guys who crossed over cuz they're not selling any CDs in the rock and roll genre. that would be guys like Kid Rock or what's his name Aaron something (is it lewis?) from Staind. I don't know enough about the genre to speculate any more than that.

It's like any art-form. You either like it and so might think it "cool". If you are un-moved by it or actively dislike it; you won't.

"Cool" though...., That slang use is still around then? I don't know when and where (probably somewhere in the USA) it was coined, but it was certainly common when I were a lad, in the 1960s!

Cool music is what you find cool. If you like it..its cool. Can always find fans of the same genre. Who cares what others like and don't like. Music is about what you personally like. Certain parts of a song. A voice. The guitar work. Bass. Whatever is your choice it's cool.
