I haven’t watched it either. I’m not usually into the fantasy stuff. But so many people whose opinions I respect (including a few on this thread) have recommended it to me that I may have to give it a watch.

Beautiful costuming, great character development, twists and turns to the story you dont expect.

Its a bit overboard with female nudity. Wouldn't have been so bad if it had as much male nudity to balance it out and add to the atmosphere....but it was so one sided it left it with a bit of a feel of sexist unnecessary lewdness on the directors part🫤

Other than that ...its a good watch. A nice winter tv binge. Lots of intrigue, epic battles, and unexpected happenings.

I only watched it last winter, (southern hemisphere here)...and was a little sad when the adventure of it was over.

Will definitely watch again on a few years.




Arcane is TERRIFIC if you love fantastic animation. Its the best animated artistry yet. Good story - i wish it had more seasons.

The first few seasons is extremely good but kind of looses it's magic towards the end. But to each their own, give it a try

I've never seen that show. I HAVE been watching, "This Is Us." It ran 6 seasons. I recommend it, highly.

It is pretty good, although slow at times.

Then they got to a point in the story where the books had yet to be written, so the TV writers took over and filled it in, and sped up event. The resulting final season was not as good as the earlier seasons.

The whole series is a bit brutal. Lots of abuse.

If you’re fine with full frontal nudity, and a medieval setting in a fantasy world which deviates from the “magic” level of the books, and lowers it significantly in the televised adaptation.

Plot wise it’s incredibly strong the first 4 seasons. Each season after starts becoming less fulfilling in terms of writing.

Characters also play a strong hook to the attachment of the series.

I tried only the first series but I didn't like it. I found almost all the characters incredible unlikable. The plot was obtuse and revolving too much around political intrigue which I am really not interested in. Also lots of sex and nudity, so be aware of that.

I loved it. House of the dragon is just as good

It is an excellent adult show

I'd recommend Wednesday, Stranger Things, and Better Call Saul

It starts strong and kind of fades out on the quality as they got past the books. The show focuses a little too much on sex scenes the way the books focused too much on describing all the foods at a meal.

season 1-4 are brilliant... s5 is a bad season... s6 is really good, s7 is a bit stupid but ok, and s8 is so bad it damaged the whole franchise so bad it never recovered
