@bijouxbroussard Let me start by saying your comment is 100% accurate on the facts. But here is where the wheels fall off. The expectations of a couple within a marriage are vastly different to what they were even 50 years ago. Women had the vote and "the pill" was established, its true. But the womens movement was just an idea. As womens ideas and careers took off and "equality" became an expectation, many women had more options..
But many still held onto large parts of the traditional roles as an expectation. And all that is OK. But tradional men (Note I said tradional) had to give up a lot at that point. And in my view they should have adapted.. The problem is that for many women, choosing this path is the beginning of a transformation, from spouse to mother. A whole different creature with different priorities..A whole different person in many ways ..Now in the olden days, this path was a well marked road with different lanes for the male and female. Now those lines are more blurred and honestly it seems to men that women get to set a lot more of the post wedding agenda and change the rules, than men do. So, for many men (not all) it does become a question of "Whats in this for me?" And a lot of men just cant see a good answer for them.. So unless you find a woman so completely wonderful that she is worth giving up everything for, why would a man bother? Believe me. $ex and the city has done women no favours...(Fortunately there are some women out there still worth it..)😷

I was looking for one thing there yet could not find it. Yet I wandered the whole place fascinated by all the stuff. A contractor's paradise. I did not know such pipe shapes, tools, and gadgets existed. If I wanted to build a house I'd know where to go. I bet Lowe's is good for that, too!
