Not much. Most would be donated.

Only one million? Not a chance.
Penny · 46-50, F
no . a million dollars isnt really enough for that anymore anyway. maybe id buy a modest new house though. and save the rest for taxes and stuff.
Iwillwait · M
No. That would leave you just over $600K I would invest that for retirement.
Umile · 41-45, F
Smh.
Naah.

I'd barely be able to afford a house where I live so no, probably not
Why should they … they already are millionaires .. 🤣
Bumbles · 51-55, M
Ask me that if it were 1980? Yes! 2024? Nope!
taneegoan · 31-35, F
lifestyle must be change but not must be friends
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
No, but it would be nice to win anyway.
mindstruggle · 31-35, F
I don't think so.
Monday40 · 51-55, F
I would buy a medium size houses , a small car and a lot of land. The rest I will bank. My friend won a million dollar lottery and soon after his wife got sick with cancer. The big payments started and I doubt he has any money now🥺. I don’t buy lottery tickets.
BridgeOvertroubledWaters · 61-69, M
First of it wouldn't be a million bcoz income tax would take it's bite.
No , I wouldn't change my life style. I'd tithe , help the kids, save some, fix a few things and upgrade a few things in the house.
I doubt I would move house.

idk about my lifestyle but i would have an opportunity to surround myself with more like minded people and maybe by this i can make new friends
Gingerbreadspice · F
Lifestyle might as I’d buy a house and change of environment can change your lifestyle. Friends no but I’m sure I might get more friends.
Ferric67 · M
Nope
Yet again, a million dollars doesn't seem like a life altering amount of money either

@Ferric67 Believe me, in some parts of the world it is.
Nah ..I'd still be the same introvert who avoids people
Ferric67 · M
@pripyatamusementpark good morning ✌
@Ferric67 good morning 🙏
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
I think you'd be disappointed with the end result once the Vultures had taxed you on it.
@Picklebobble2 I was a tax free tip from being a waiter.
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
Yes. With that kind of money i would be stable enough to put attention towards having friends.
Colonelmustardseed · 36-40
No. That wouldn’t even last long. I’d pay off family members’ worst debts.
Hahaha... maybe something left after taxes and paying off bills.... 🤣
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
How much is that after tax?
CarlDee · 56-60, MNew
@CrazyMusicLover let's say it's a million after taxes
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@CarlDee Hmm, I don't think anything would immediately change apart from setting up a new bank account to put the money in. Then I'd start planning where to move to so I could buy a property there without a mortgage and start my life anew.

No real changes, a Million is a lot, but ain't what it used to be...
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M

ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Not terribly re lifestyle. Friends? Probably not.
I might buy a different house with a pool..
No. A million doesn't stretch that far these days.
10% divided between our 5 fave charities.
50% into a health fund for old age because we have none now and badly need it.
40% repairs to house and driveway - also badly needed.
Thankfully, our friends have managed their lives better than we have.

A million dollars ? In San Francisco ? Not really. That amount would translate to security here, but not necessarily wealth.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Wouldn't buy me a house here.
Shybutwilling2bfriends · 61-69

Anniedlr · 26-30, F
