Taking care of your responsibilities.
It has nothing to do with character traits, like walking around like a tough guy, belching so loud it shakes the windows or shooting snot out of your nose.

It means you are born with a penis, testicles and the chromosomal configuration to be assigned 'male' gender at birth 9 months (ish) after you actually became alive.
Umile · 41-45, F
If I was a man..I think I'd just go for it. I'd probably be a go getter. Getting things done. My mentality doesn't look pretty sitting on a woman's body.

Have X and Y chromosomes in every cell of the body.

@SW-User I’ve given a biological answer.
But I somehow feel the brain itself sometimes rejects this notion, psychologically, and so a biological male behaves as if it is female.
And to make it more complex too, in the early stages of development in the womb, chromosomes can change from XY to XX, caused by chemical changes or irradiation (of Cosmic Rays or radioactive rocks, or Argon in the atmosphere).Hence the emergence of hermaphroditism.

If you read the article this mentality is excessively exclusionary.
In reality, gender verification tests are difficult, expensive, and potentially inaccurate," said Myron Genel, M.D., a pediatric endocrinologist at the Yale School of Medicine

@Aidan I confess I am out of my depth here. But am lead to believe it is more complex than meets the eye.

I like to refer to the three Ps of masculinity
Protect - those who need it
Produce - be a builder, not a destroyer
Provide - for those who cannot help themselves
Generally good for anyone though.
