@WildHeart trust me, I can relate.
Protein protein protein. And lots of water. Try warm bath and patience your muscles are telling you it's the first time you've used them to they're full potential. This is going to last a week lol. Do it more and you'll stop hurting and get stronger and fitter 🤓👍

I have fibromyalgia so here's a list of stuff to try...
1. Bath with epsom salt twice a day.
2. Drink water like crazy. You'll be shocked at how much better you'll feel.
3. Fruit juices like cranberry juice. 100% juices only.
4. Protein. Lean meats and nuts like pecans, peanuts, etc can help to keep your body working while you rest. It speeds up recovery time by at least a day.
5. Green veggies.
6. Icy hot on your joints.
7. Ibuprofen is a great over the counter anti inflammatory.
8. Rest but don't stay still all day. Try to continue to move around a little to keep your muscles from tensing up even more.
I hope this helps. I usually try to ride out my hurt days and my flare always goes away at least a day later doing this stuff. Good luck.

Whenever you do something that you suspect will make you sore, you should always stretch afterwards. Cold showers or icing your muscles can help, too. Additionally, eating a meal with a lot of carbs and protein (ideally in a 1:1 ratio) can help a lot, especially when you wake up sore in the morning. The protein is what your muscles need to repair itself, and the insulin response from the carbs will make your body store nutrients into your muscles. And don't forget to sleep!

It gets worse after day two or three 😔

Epsom Salt soak always works for me.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Soak for at least 30 minutes in a very warm bath with a couple hand fulls of Epsom salts added. Very relaxing and you'll get minerals into your muscles.
