I don't feel like an adult, but when I had my son I knew life just got real.

Honestly, I'm 33 and still don't feel like one. I can't do half the things my mom does that it seems w mature responsible adult does (balance checkbook, taxes, budgeting, mortgage, responsible meal planning, regular doctors and dentist appointments, talking on the phone, etc)

Yeah... Don't do that - it can be difficult for a child to make teachers listen when they announce their medical needs.

I don't know, it's more of a procedure rather than a singular moment. I'm still growing, due to circumstances I'm a late bloomer in many things, as if I restarted it all over after 28.

After Surviving savage beatings and tortures during my childhood, when I was 11 I knew how to take care of myself and was mature beyond my years.

I was pretty much alone constantly apart from school starting at 12 but dontthink I mentally matured until 16. Ill say 16

In some ways when I was about 8 probably, in other ways I'm still not.

Still working on the whole adult thing... it's really not a lot of fun.

Nine. My parents were very angry. I was put on a diet to stop my periods. My father was a famous scientist and I was nothing.
The diet worked. I was the only girl who did not know you could cheat on a diet.
