In Belgrade, I actually had a fairly easy time getting employed. The Serbian goverenment is fed up with Romani crime, and they recognize that we're criminals cos nobody will hire us. But everyone says they won't hire us cos we're criminals. So it's kind of stuck in gridlock. So the government decided to start doling out welfare checks to Gypsies on taxpayer money so we can afford food and housing without needing to steal. It also annoys everyone else cos they don't want their tax money spent just giving it to people. But the government in turn says they understand, and the solution is to hire Roma people so they don't have an excuse to take welfare anymore. And it's been surprisingly effective.

@BlueMetalChick i was just going to say that after the communism ended,a whole new era began. Although nobody will hire you if you have a record,gypsie or not. Now it’s easier to get in trouble if you’re a gipsy,I won’t deny that but there’s a difference between stealing a purse or a pair of shoes than stabbing people in nightclubs

@OfflineFriend Took a day to rest after getting the vaccine. Everyone says you feel like crap for a day or two after. I didn't feel too bad but my arm where they gave me the shot was very tight.
