A classic film that balances comedy while openly mocking racist people. It could never be made nowadays and be as good or as funny. The world has lost it’s ability to use humour to address problems.

I think it's just a certain subset of people who make claims like "Blazing Saddles couldn't be made today" ... typically MAGA people who don't watch much of anything but Fox News so would have no idea what actually is being made today
My only regret is that one of the best lines was lost to history because the Hayes committee didn't care for it. Remember the scene where Cleavon Little and Madeline Kahn are about to have sex, and she asks if it's true what they say about black men? When they fade to black and she yells, "It's TWUE! It's TWUE!" Cleavon originally responded with, "Uh, ma'am, you're sucking on my knee."
