How close are you to ceiling fans? Just curious before I decide if I like you or not.

We have one in each bedroom and the den. They are well-trained and know to stay in their place.

I have one in each bedroom and one in the living room. They are over 20 years old and kind of out of style but they sure come in handy so up they stay. None of them are that close to us where it matters. They are just hanging up stirring up the air.

We don't talk much but not for lack of trying. It's just we're both pretty busy doing what we do.

Speaking of ceiling fans: do you know that challenge where you let a ceiling fan swing a water bottle around and try to dodge it while blindfolded?

I insist that my fans get down from the ceiling and approach me directly, walking across the floor, so that they don't fall and hurt themselves, me, etc.

And when any show up, they shall be apprised of this very strict rule

As a kid I had a bunk bed for some unknown reason and I always slept on the top bunk. So I’d be only two or three feet away from it.

I have a JD Vance-style relationship with my ceiling fan and its smooth, smooth rotations.

Well, those ceiling fans are a lot like windmills, and they go "whirrr, whirrr, whirrr" and they can kill whales. It's a disgrace what those ceiling windmills do.
