Do you still keep in contact with anyone from high school?

When I left HS, in 1990 I went straight to nursing in another part of Ireland, never got any mail or calls from my HS tribe after me sending dozens of letters, then I went to the USA to do preschool teaching. Never heard from my HS tribe till 2013. I was back in Dublin and they contacted me via Facebook, I met up, we had a laugh, we went to Rome, Prague,and Barcelona, besties again, 2015 my brother died, needed them so much, they ignorantly dropped me like a cold bag of sick! Been free from that shite for 8 years and I'm delighted to know I should have never rekindled a friendship that has no interest when I wrote those letters to them in the 90s..

I had regular contact with one friend, but he died a few years ago. I went to my 50th reunion last month and enjoyed seeing old friends. I usually contact them on their birthdays.

I graduated in 1970. There were a few friends I stayed in contact with for awhile. There were a few others who I established contact with electronically years later. But they all stopped responding to me after a while.

Three years ago, I was contacted on Facebook by someone I dated toward the end of my senior year. We have become good friends. My wife and I spent a few days visiting her and her husband last summer, and we all got along great with each other.

I stay in contact with a guy I go back to first grade with. Another one from then died young.

I just saw a gal from my class I really liked is in end stage renal failure. I sent her go fund me some $ as she needs an electric wheelchair. Sad, she was a great (and cute) person ☹️

Just one person. I feel bad for her, because I’m not a good friend. She always tries to keep in contact with me and plans a meetup but then something always happens and I have to cancel everything. I hope one day the meetup happens and I’ll tell her how sorry I am for neglecting her.

Yep. Still best friend.

I went out with two of them last winter.
I also have plenty of them on Facebook so I could contact them if I wanted to.
Even people from primary school.

I still keep in contact with two people. Ones health is not very good. I'm not sure how much longer he will be with us.

No. My best friend was killed junior year. I didn't even go senior year, I graduated early in night school because I couldn't face it.

A few friends from schooldays. I'm still in contact with a guy I've known since we were in Infants School, aged 5. (We're both aged 70 now)

Graduated in ‘91 and still talk to lots of them, hang out with them too, some are from elementary school too.

Just people my sister is still friends with. I didn’t have any friends in high school, so…

It’s not always easy, but thankfully there are eight of us who still meet regularly.

No I went to school in largely a farming community.
Many I'm sure would have gone into the family business but I moved away for work doing something completely different.
And then you think how farming has changed over the years and I doubt many if any are still in it.
And college wise ?
The rare few I have occasional e-mails from probably birthdays and Christmas but haven't seen any of them for years

I graduated in 3 years and never looked back. Knew one guy another year or two as I went to local community college, but then moved from TX to MT.

I haven't heard or seen any HS folks since. I didn't really like high school social life. All were terribly immature.

There are a couple I see once in a while when visiting my home town, a few I interact with on FB. Thats about it. I've lived 150 to several hundred miles away since graduating college .. and that was over 35 yrs ago .. makes it tough.

In the late 2000's I contacted a couple people I was in HS with but after that I never bothered. HS was kind of a crappy time, I just prefer not to re-live it.

My roommate and to a lesser amount my sister. I don't live back home anymore but I doubt anything would be different if I did.
