Cajun chicken stew…

I often cook a lot of a particular dish, put it in Tupperware and send it off with one of my siblings to share with Pop, or put it in the fridge as supper for the week. When it’s for me, day I cook it, I usually just have a few spoonfuls before putting it away.

Cajun and Creole foods always taste even better the day after, anyway. They marinate in their seasonings.

I've craving real Cajun food. Nobody comes close to it here in Wisconsin. It's looks like Cajun, but it surely don't taste like real Cajun.

@HumanEarth Do they even sell cayenne in Wisconsin? It seems like such a mayo kinda state 😅
HumanEarth · F
Well we do put mayo in our beer as dare when drinking. So what does tell you 🤣🤣🤣
It looks yum.
I really need to try and cook more, I miss my amazing dishes. Also, where can I get this recipe? 😁☺😇

Looks super yummy.. Did you learn how to cook in Louisiana.
@Punxi Yes. My grandmother taught me. Well, me and my cousin Emile. The very first dish she taught us was Creole scrambled eggs, with seasonings, herbs, cheese and sausage. We were 8 and 9 years old, and were so proud when the family enjoyed it.
He still likes to cook, too.

@bijouxbroussard So ligit Cajun cooking...nice. I'm a fan. Attended Marti gras once and really the best part on my trip was the food.... goodness.

As a resident I'd be as big as a house.
