I love -really good- coffee but don't wanna spend thousands of dollars so I have:
- Beans delivered from a local roaster, light roast usually, from various places around the world - A high quality hand grinder (a good electric burr grinder is like 800 dollars fuck that) - A french press, pourover, and aeropress and I switch it up depending on mood - A temperature controlled kettle
All that kit costs me maybe a few hundred bucks and lets me have incredible coffee of a bunch of different types 'cause a french press or a pourover will give you totally different cups from the same bean. It's fun.

@CountScrofula You should* a throw a coffee party for all of us coffee lovers 💅
@Ryannnnnn Yeah Starbucks is a fine place to go for a giant fuckoff 8000 calories milkshake that tastes like a full pint of condensed milk you would drink as if you were a Cuban abuelita.
However do not under any circumstances get a cup of black coffee there lol
@Ryannnnnn French press needs a good grinder because you get so much silt in it otherwise. I can't hush about a good manual grinder enough though best way to get quality coffee for... well they're not cheap but a damn sight cheaper than an electric.
My favourite is freddo espresso (basically iced espresso), I have an espresso machine and buy illy or lavazza ground, I don't really pay attention to the blend. If I want it hot I like it with just a bit of milk. I also like turkish of course, I buy some greek brand, either Loumidis or Bravo. If I'm somewhere where none of them are an option I will just drink nescafe with hot water hahahah also sometimes I like to buy french press with some flavour like hazelnut. I never put sugar in any of them. Overall I'm not really picky when it comes to it hahah but if I really need to wake up I will go with a freddo espresso.

I usually get expresso , 2 shots with oat milk. My favorite bean is Colombian. If I want to stay awake I just drink plain black coffee. I pick local coffee shops over Starbucks any day. Recently I’ve been a fake and betraying the coffee lovers community , cause I’ve been consuming green tea a lot and matcha as well. I think I just really love the caffeine. 🥲
I love keurig pods, I was very grateful to receive a Keurig as a gift a few years ago. Im having a cup now... Green Mountain brand, Colombian. With French vanilla creamer..mmm!!
Old fashioned drip at home with strong dark roast. I have a Ninja coffee maker. I get stuff from an Independent roaster several hours north a few times a year but otherwise I get fair trade.
There's a coffee shop where I work so 3 days a week I treat myself to either a frou frou espresso drink [usually Smore or Caramel] or an hit black Americano depending on if I'm fasting.
@Starcrossed Try starting your drip machine with super hot water it makes a wild different in cup quality as they pass a bunch of cold water through at first as they heat up.
I have a big 'ol Philadelphia Eagles double size mug that gets filled on a regular basis with store bought ground perked coffee. Nothing fancy, just the java juice. Cause ya know, all this don't run on flavored spring water!
I'll be judged by the coffee snobs, but the only kind I can handle is Instant Decaf. I'm really sensitive to caffeine and deeply regret when I drink it.
€100 Grinder, €50 espresso machine from Lidl (that makes coffee 10x better than the old €200+ one I had lol), black or at most (whipped/) cream and/or whisky
Dammit. SW crashes when I try to upload an image. I get the Blue Mountain Jamaican beans from Costco and we have a cheap coffee grinder. I think it was like 10 bucks on Amazon. We have another one for weed lmao.
But my coffee pot does pods, too. We have a whole assortment of them we have collected. My favorites are Krispy Kreme and the donut blend from Dollar general lmao
@SwampFlower You need a burr grinder - the cheap blade grinders just kind of randomly pulverize the coffee and fuck the quality since the game is all about correct extraction. You'll need electric because disability. This is the best budget model since why spend 800 bucks on a first time appliance:
@basilfawlty89 Turkish coffee is great. Totally different thing than what I consume but if I'm at a place that serves it I'll et one after my meal and enjoy life.
@V00doo Yeah! It's a local company that has direct deal with small plantations and sends a different bag every few weeks so there's a rotating variety that's sent the same day it is roasted.
@V00doo Yeah there's been a massive surge in popularity with upscale coffee roasters in the UK over the past few years. I'm sure you can find some amazing subscription services.
@CountScrofula I had one of those siphon pots and it was the gas but I set it down one day from the stove top and there was a little bit of water on the cutting board and it just exploded all over the place.
