Do you watch pro wrestling and do you consider it to be real or fake?

I watched it when I was younger. The storylines and acting are ridiculous and cartoonishly unrealistic, but the stunts are real and quite risky.

Pro wrestling like the Olympics or WWE? Neither really. Used to watch WWE back when I was younger. It was entertaining. The athletes are very good at what they do and it would make sense for it to be scripted in order to reduce the injuries they must suffer.

I've been watching WWE Wrestling since 1978 and from what I hear it's scripted but wrestlers do get hurt. So I'm thinking some of it is real while some of it is fake I still believe wrestlers use razor blades to cut themselves to make it look like they're injured and bleeding but I could be wrong?

On ethe second question, It's not a question of what I think at all, it's well-known established fact that it is fake (the term you're looking for is "kayfabe") ... I can't believe anyone in 2026 would still think it's real, but then I can't believe anyone would believe QAnon conspiracy theories, or anything Trump says, either, so that speaks to the state of the Murican populace.

Fake, at the Royal Rumble they come into the ring like a firecracker when their number is called, beating up everyone. Then one well timed kick to the nipple or armpit punch and they're moving like a lethargic old man for the remainder of the match.
