Please say something!

I tell people anymore.
Some of them I get to talk it over with and we remain friends while others make it clear they don't care and it's my problem; that's when I say see you later... The eggshell side step is an emotionally draining dance to keep dancing.

Is it all that important? Serious question not trying to be a jerk. Sometimes our sensitivity is set so high we do more damage trying to fix the problem than the actual problem ever could do.

Of course , especially if you know them on a close level

If you are coming here to sound out your conundrum, you have much deeper issues. You should not be bringing these types of questions here. In it's staid, you should be seeking guidance from close friends and family members who's guidance you respect where you live. This place is not the right platform for your relief LJ.

Always tell. The first time be really nice and polite like I know you didn’t mean to, but that hurt.
The second time be more clear hey I told you don’t do that it hurts.
If they do it a third time it means they don’t care, or they want to hurt you, but they’re just an absolute insensitive idiot you can do without

Telling them is your best bet if you don't want them to do it, or something like it, again. You can be tactful. Start by telling them how much you like them and why. Then you can explain how you felt when they said/did something that really hurt you. If they care about your feelings, it won't happen again.

Yes you should never hide feelings or truth cause it can come back to bit you harder if you let it
Woofles · 22-25, F
Maybe, on a quiet time alone, you could ask them their reasons for behaving that way?
PEACH4LIFE · 46-50, F
Of course you should if not they'll just continue to hurt you.
You should do whatever your comfortable with doing.

What do you mean? 🤔
LillyJulia · 26-30, F
@SarithBorn sorry, english is not my first language.
Like if someone does something and that action hurts me. Should I tell them that their action did hurt me?

@LillyJulia Yes, otherwise they may continue to do it. 😇
