@pdockal there was coercion sure, I agree. I was personally not coerced or threatened however.
They were also going to make it so that you needed proof of vaccination to go shopping for groceries. I'm surprised there wasn't more of an uprising against all of it.
At my job we were mandated to wear a mask the whole day, no ifs, ands, or buts. My states governor at the time kept his cabinet business opened, non essential, while the other businesses that were essential had to shutdown.
Trust me, I am fully aware of the bullshit that happened, and I stand against all of it. But certain decisions I made, were my own decisions that I chose to make.
@HumanEarth I've had some vaxes like all the childhood ones, but back then (1970 's) nobody got vaxed for chicken pox either, or flu. I got a boostrix jab just before my now 6 y/o daughter was born, and I have got jabs to travel to the USA and Canada in the mid-1990's, but that's it. No covid - no flu - no chicken pox jabs. This is why I love the pro-vax crowd as they are comedy gold labelling anyone who refuses Covid jabs as 'full on hardcore total anti-vaxxers' purely because it suits their narrative. I had chicken pox as an adult so now have full natural immunity to it plus the added benefit of living with shingles for the rest of my life.
@HumanEarth I don't do OS travel anymore but I guess if I did want to I'd be told I have to get certain jabs. I don't know if Covid or flu jabs form part of that mandate.
@hippyjoe1955 to be fair you have posted on this topic before i think it is devicive and emotive subject that just opens the war of words betweeen the non vaxxers and vaxxers. i have sympathy for the three who became ill after the vax but to be honest it is of personal choice and up too the individual if they think it is worth having it or not
@smiler2012 if only it were so. I met a young woman whose husband hurt his hand at work. He went to the hospital and was told " No Vax no treatment". He was vaced and had a bad reaction. Not dead but off work
Didn't they use to say, get vaccinated against covid so as you won't get it?
Then they changed to, get vaccinated, you may get covid anyway, but it won't kill you.
They DIDN'T say (although they have always known it), get vaccinated and take the biggest risk of your life, not knowing what consequences will hit your body later down the line from this gene therapy - including disability and DEATH by it.
@WalterF from 2018 to 2021 the very definition of the word "vaccination" changed 3 times. From "will stop you getting the bug" to "will stop you getting really sick".
Best to ignore these context warping/lying "experts"......as you say, liars
More importantly almost everyone who elected to not get Covid jabs has remained healthy the entire time and even more importantly due to the mass 'exposure' of populations to the mutating virus almost everyone who elected to not get Covid jabs has developed full natural adaptable immunity and getting ill from Covid has not been an issue.
Being vaxed does not prevent you from getting infected. It lessens the severity of sickness from that strain. The flu vaccine is an example. The virus mutates constantly.
no - out PA has said that they aren't recommending past the 3rd booster - I'm just doingi the flu vaccine - and not getting the shingles or pneumonia shots either.
@pdockal Even so, the majority of the people still don't understand the gravity of the situation. Mass formation psychosis requires only 30% of the people's participation.
I got covid after my last trip. I am not getting another booster. i should be good for awhile.

@akindheart I had my last boaster about a month ago, the first day you could have it. It was offered at the pharmacist. I treat it like a flu injection. I know in America there were some concerns About the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, but I had Phizzer which way thought good. Who knows I’m alive.
No. I contracted the CCP virus late 2020, before the jab had become available to flyover country.
Obviously, i survived, despite possessing some of the comorbidities.
I thus demurred when it was offered here in southwest Missouri. I later enjoyed the delta or omicron or whatever variation on a theme by the Chinese Communist Party.
@SW-User you mean like on the internet? I don't know whether there is reliable information available, mostly just twisted opinions from both sides. I am familiar enough with the technology to have only minimal concerns about so called side effects. I did have a severe reaction to the polio vaccine but that was many years ago, so it is possible.

@GerOttman On Friday here in the UK, there was a debate in government on the excess deaths since the push out of the covid 19 vax.
John Campbell 2023 stats are 36000 excess deaths in uk and 149000 in America
Pfizer admitted it’s caused an increase in myocarditis , pericarditis in men.
I must be an extremely rare case because I had 2 covid shots in 2019 or 2020 (not sure when it was, I lost that stupid card that was proof of vaccination) and I'm still here and I feel perfectly fine. I didn't get any boosters, just those initial 2 shots.
I was absolutely positive those shots would kill me, but they didn't. If people who had a covid vaccination shot died directly from a vaccination shot and there's proof of that, then it needs pursued.
My brother, my dad who is in his 70's, my younger niece, and myself all have had covid vaccine shots, and we are all still here. I am personally unaware of anyone I know who has died or had complications from a vaccination shot, whether it be covid or flu etc.
I had covid twice. The first time was without any shots, the second time was after having both shots. I can honestly say that the difference between covid the first time and the second is, on the second bout I felt like I lost more of my sense of smell, and it took longer to come back.
