I got a four pack of these at the store the other day.

Glass bottles used to come out of a machine for a quarter (or less). That’s my generation.

I remember i would go door to door asking if anyone had glass juice bottles, you used to be able to trade em in for 20p so id show up with a shopping trolley full of em n get sweets for me n my friends.

I was that era ,well they stopped it in my era.

We were Coke drinkers and kept the small bottles of Coke in the refrigerator. They had the city where the drink was originally bottled on the bottom of the bottle. When with a group, whoever had the bottle from the most distant place had to pay or got some special privilege.

I still see the coco cola and Diet Coke glass bottles, very occasionally. I still see sprite and that in some shops the red Fanta in big plastic bottles.

A 10 0z Coke in a thick glass bottle out of the machine with a wood box next to the machine to place the bottle when you were done.
