@TexChik Oh yes ... I was cleared to work about a month after the incident, but at my desk only. The full medical clearance to travel took the extra months.
Yup ... I'm back there for my own development and also helping to teach. Because of my travel schedule, I'm not able to lead my own classes, but I jump in when I can when I'm home.

MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Yes, of course. I'm ready and I'm a team player when it comes to getting the work done.
tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F
I have done several times.I am prepared to take responsibility and take decisions.It sure is a better choice than blaming others when things don't go my way.More pay too.I have a firm yet fair approach to dealing with anything and I can be approached by anyone in my workplace.
SparkleLeaf · 51-55
I did and I wish I hadn't.
@SparkleLeaf Been there
ShepherdBard · 31-35, M
Most likely
deadgerbil · 26-30
@ShepherdBard corporate dog!!

Depends on the increase of both and whether you really want to go there

Why wouldn't you?

If the position is fun. I’m already well paid. If I can’t arrive at work psyched for the day, the extra few dollars have no value.
If I can move the needle and have fun doing it, I’m in.
My rules though…

I would like a raise, but I'm not sure about the responsibilities. I'm getting old and zeroing in on retirement. I sometimes have trouble dealing with the responsibilities I have.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
Sure
come2gether · 46-50, M
Accept. And then look for work elsewhere that pays better
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@come2gether That's a bad attitude.
come2gether · 46-50, M
@MarkPaul you don't know how to play the game
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@come2gether Are you kidding me? I know every in and out of the game. And, I understand human behaviour. You better get humble in a hurry, mister.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
Yes. It's when they give you more responsibility without it's time to walk
Nope. I enjoy my job the way it is. My days of being stressed out over work are done.
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
I never say no to promotions
deadgerbil · 26-30
@BittersweetPotato how does a slimy auditor get promoted
come2gether · 46-50, M
@deadgerbil they always do!
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
I already have more responsibilities added to my job but no raise. 😑
Pretzel · 61-69, M
not any more. don't want the extra responsibilities at my age.
I usually do . Always trying to better myself .
HannahSky · F
Probably. Depends on the job and my goals.
Turtlepower · 36-40, M
Typically yes lol
exexec · 61-69, C
I always did.
NewBeginnings7790 · 41-45, F
Yup
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Am I fired if I don't? Lot of companies out there don't like keeping employees without ambition. You can be awesome at your job, but if you aren't aiming for the next position up, then you are shortlisted for layoff season.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I'm going through that now actually. They don't value subject experts anymore.
