If they offer you a promotion with a raise and more responsibilities, do you accept?

I have done several times.I am prepared to take responsibility and take decisions.It sure is a better choice than blaming others when things don't go my way.More pay too.I have a firm yet fair approach to dealing with anything and I can be approached by anyone in my workplace.
