Guys what are the first step someone could take on losing weight??

BlueVeins · 22-25
Obviously, it depends a lot on what diet you currently have. I focus on replacing stuff with healthier stuff that serves similar roles and is convenient.

Examples include:

sugary soda -> Zevia
white bread -> wheat bread
regular snacks -> berries, seaweed, roasted beans
coffee /w creamer -> green tea

Sincerely? asking for God's helps and being grateful.
@deathfairy it's no laughing matter, despite the weight gain
I'm healthy which I'm grateful for
But I'm pre diabetic
no it is the praying for weight loss that got me 😹 i hope you reach your optimal health @RadiantRuby

Lose the milk and desserts until you get what you want. I lost 20 pounds that way.

It was the calories for me.
@Pfuzylogic I'm definitely taking more calories than I should but it's not from lactose lol
I'm just sad, my clothes are very snug now

Losing the desserts motivated me in two ways. First I didn’t eat them for nutrition, that included sweets during breakfast. Also when I lost the weight, the desserts were more of a choice and reward.

It all comes down to eating less calories than you work off. High protien high fiber, cut back on carbs as much as you can and eat veggies. And I still eat some ice cream in the evening.
Cut off an arm? Okay, I am doing a diet for diabetes, low carb and fairly high in protein (basically a keto diet). I can have pretty much all of the meat I want but I can't have bread, chips, pasta, potatoes, breaded meats or veggies. Very difficult as a truck driver as I get most of my food from fast food joints. I absolutely hate paying full price to get half a sandwich and Subway is a joke they actually charge 2-3 dollars extra to NOT give me any bread.
No I need my arm to punch meanies 🤬
@RadiantRuby I edited it and added in what I am doing. It is helping my sugar but it is also making me a little irritable. I miss tasty foods.

Change your diet. You cannot outwork a shitty diet.

What you eat
@MrBrownstone I drink alot
Sometimes I really think most of my calories are coming from there
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
Getting a dog, have kids and move in with your brother who has a big house
@TurtlePink That reminds me of a movie lol
Put down the fork. Cut back on alcohol and unnecessary carbs.
Ok

Put down the ice cream and back away slowly.
@TexChik I don't eat sweets, but I like savoury foods. I can count how many times in my life I've eaten ice cream. My teeth are a living proof such pearly whites 😊
TexChik · F
@TexChik if I'm honest I drink alot of beer, but so did my ex he was skinny as a toothpick. I think my suddent weight surge came from that
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
Add more exercise in, count your calories, carbs, proteins and macros. Drink lots of water. Those all have helped me.

Oh and cut out processed foods and processed sugar.
@iamonfire696 I'm addicted to savory snacks like chips. I will give it up, during the pandemic I gained 45 pounds 😟 I'm just not pleased with myself
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@RadiantRuby replace it with popcorn with no butter. When I want something crunchy I eat raw veggies.

I have cut out lots of things eating an anti inflammation diet. It sucks 🤣
