Country for me, and I love it here. The quietness outside of livestock here and there. I can actually hear the birds chirp and watch the wildlife frolic around. The secluded aspect, even with neighbors closer than I wish. Being surrounded by trees all around me. And the overall lack of busyness, as all that along with traffic and commotion from businesses increases my anxiety. The only con is that it takes forever to go somewhere.

Here in UK countryside. Pro - clean air, greenery, safer for children and toddlers to be out, plenty of park and open spaces to walk n play.
Cons- can be dark no or limited streetlights, easy for accident fall in ditch or over the bridge (2 to 3 feet below so nothing fatal) and security due to lights and robbers' hideouts. Local bus service is limited so need to rely on car, amneties not close by.
However, am only 0.5 from the City (not town centre) but atleast for better bus setvices into Town. So my county and the actual district of the City is literally just cross the road!
The city but when I lived on the ranch it was great. Nature was so much better than a concrete forest, however finding clubs or movie theaters, ain't going to get that without a good drive, depending how far.
Plus shopping of any sorts.
To me the perfect location would be in the country but no more than about 30 mins from a decent sized city to shop and do whatever else I would want. The best of both worlds in that best case scenario.
The city, but my city is extremely mellow. In fact, it’s one of the safest cities in my country, despite how highly populated it is. I’ll visit other cities and it is always just so hectic and everyone is so uptight. Nothing like my city at all! What I’m getting at is, even though I live in the city, I like to think I’m a country person at heart.
I live in the country. I love country life. I have seen native animals of all sorts. There are mountains, trees, fresh water so many things that I appreciate. Also the trees are all in bloom, amazing here!
I have lived in the city, but I didn’t have as much freedom.
I live in a town so it not a city. But I can walk to stores. I like to live in town. But I would not mind maybe living right out side of town. I have lived in the country I liked it till we moved to a town. To me the city is like apartment living and skyscrapers around. Idk if I would like that.
I'm in NYC pretty much right in the heart (on the East River). But we're a secluded street without much traffic.
I really like being in center of things but I need to get away sometimes. Like today where I have some work I could easily do here, but I'm going out to a university library in LI
in my life till I was 17 totally in village , never seen any town even during time , village life is of course pure and wild in many ways where I did a lot daring natural way , after moving in town at 17 I started get learned about town living with artificial facts and at my 20 I move to a city , that time already get learned about good and bad about modern life around there but i always pref village in my own way where nature is the base of living with less modern facilities with less stress of modern life so far in my opinion
I live in a suburb on a quiet street, with a small creek and no houses behind my house. A pond and woods are nearby. I could never live in a big city and prefer the country, but this is a good compromise.
I live at the edge of a small city. It's not crowded but traffic jams and a lack of parking places are pretty bad here. I'd like to live in a small town/small city in a house with a big garden in a quiet and safe neighbourhood.
First fourth of life was growing up in the country but it has been the city. The city is best for jobs, ease of getting groceries, medical care, and entertainment. The country provides quiet and freedoms the city doesn't.
The suburbs of a big city. I like having all the services of a city close by and within reach..I enforce the right degree of "chill' on my own property..😷
A frustrating mix of both, I grew up in the country but urban sprawl has pushed everyone out here so basically I have to drive to get anywhere and all the roads are constantly packed
Neither. In Ex-Urbia or suburbia, take your pick. The worst of both urban and country, with very little of the good of either. The only reason for being here was the grandkids, and now they are grown and gone.
