I travelled to Edinburgh, and a six and a half hour car journey. We lost, so it was a long journey home. Also flew to the USA, but team won on that occasion.

Ugh I remember those days. My son played rep soccer and hockey and I drove all over Ontario for that. I’m soooo glad that’s over

twice...once i flew like 5 hours to florida (orlando) for an mls match...and once to new orleans to an nfl game...from vancouver canada...and 3 times by train to portland for soccer (football) matches which took 9 hours...considering it's only a 5-1/2 hour drive.... @NativePortlander1970

@whowasthatmaskedman I was a coach driver for a while.mi have seen a lot of the UK and parts of mainland Europe. My only "exotic adventure was a week I spent with friends in San Francisco.

I did a grueling 18 minute walk from my condo to the sports center in downtown Toronto to watch the Toronto Blue Jays play baseball. It took me over a week to get over the jet lag.

@V00doo the only professional rugby match I ever saw was Caerphilly playing a cup match against a team of part timers. It wasn't very competitive but it was good fun.
