tell me about your most interesting scar

The one on my legs from my muscle biopsy at the age of 2. That was performed without pain killers, but back then those contained adrenaline which would put too much stress on my heart. It was still unknown that the body produces its own adrenaline in response to pain, so avoiding pain killers was pointless.

Had over 40 operations, id be here all night telling you

I have cuts from self cutting on my arms and legs.

Although the most interesting scars are emotional.

I have had 12 surgeries due to my 27-year career in the Army, they all were earned differently and hard to pick one as a favorite.

My year 7 hacksaw cut between my left thumb and forefinger, and my year 8 solder burn on my right hand near the top of the second finger from the right. I had chicken pox as an adult in my early 30's and used to have a heap of really obvious scars from that too but over the years they've gradually become far less prominent. There are a lot of emotional scars - main one being the mum of my 5 y/o and how she outright rejected me and reacted violently towards me after our daughter's birth for the first year of her life until I decided to leave (my presence was the DV trigger, so I removed myself to remove the trigger and I've never gone back).

I have one on the back of my neck and one on my lower back. When I was 21, I was in a car accident and fractured the C2 vertebrae in my neck. They had to harvest bone from my pelvis in order to help fuse the bone in my neck.

Don't feel bad for me though, I was driving drunk. It was a horrific accident, and I'm just glad I didn't kill myself or someone else.

My ankle and leg from a displaced ankle fracture…I basically snapped my foot off. 3 operations later and it is facing the right way and functional

On my back from my laminectomy. Fused from C2 to T2 and removal of back of C2/3. Scar rubs from middle of the back of my head to between shoulder blades. 10+ hr surgery.

There's a scar on the side of my face, kinda close to my hairline. It looks like I marked myself with an ink pen but it's really asphalt from being thrown out of a car when I was a kid. More than once mom forgot what it was and tried to scrub it off.

I still have one on my left knee from a childhood accident on a trail in a famous California state park! 😆

A stab wound on my right arm. I got stabbed when I was 17 trying to break up a fight.

I have a scar in my hand that now looks like one of the lines

I don't have many, but I got a fun one on my leg, from climbing over a fence as a child, I slipped and scrapped my leg straight down to the bone. 🤙🏼

A scar under my chin is from my childhood cat.

i’ve got a scar on my lip, a scar that looks like a pp on my thigh and then a huge scar and dent in my shin from a machete 😅

The only ones I have are from when I cut my fingers on sheet metal as a child

4 inches, under my belly button and above my crotch, near death experience, was 20 years ago but still quite visible

I've got a wicked deep scar on my elbow.
It looks like a knife wound, bit it's actually from having to try to close a rusted gate in the pouring rain.
