none is boring, if you feel so, get involved with something maybe that you find interesting, to regain your own interest..
As of getting drunk..you are young and it is your own process and only you can know when this will be over. It took me years to rid of alcohol but truly if I'd go back, I'd drink less.

For myself I don't care that I'm boring.
I think it's good that you're working on yourself and not trying to be so angry.

I agree with Boeing. Sometimes we drink when we are bored. Perhaps try to reduce the drinking by consciously thinking i will just have one and then a soft drink and give yourself a reason such it’s work tomorrow or i want to go and do something without dealing with a headache

The thing to do is work on becoming your authentic self instead of pleasing other people or worrying about what others think. Try to get to the bottom of this type thinking, because it's self-destructive. If someone loves you, they will love and accept you for who you are... not what they think you should be.

Find what makes you happy, then look to be happy with other people.
