I’m worried that I’m maybe boring to be around

I’m not really that good at being friends or getting too close to people, I used to kinda hide this by being kinda mean, but for obvious reasons I’ve stopped doing that. I’m concerned that my girlf maybe thinks I’m a bit boring 😬. I am really nervous and worry about getting close, I get drunk really easily and do stupid stuff which I think she’s a bit embarrassed about. Sorry I’m venting, I don’t even know what I’m asking here, I think I just needed to write this down.

Thanks for that, at the moment the things I generally like doing are either things on my own or shopping for clothes and going out dancing. I need to be a professional clothes shopper lol!@RockinPop54

I do like going clothes shopping with my girlf and her friends, it’s a fun time, but we do end up going for drinks and I get drunk really easily. I feel self conscious if I don’t drink though. @RockinPop54

@Strongtea What I did to break out of my shell was to go shopping for lingerie for my wife by myself. Sure! I would get some funny looks & maybe a comment or two, but I got more comfortable in uncomfortable situations.

Ah ok, I have been with the girls when they’ve bought underwear before, but it was a bit embarrassing for us all so I went to another place and met back up with them later. My girlf doesn’t really wear lingerie, just normal stuff, I wouldn’t know what to buy lol! Maybe I’ll get her something though. @RockinPop54

Because what I was buying was sexy nylon lingerie I got asked by the sales girls if I was buying for my lady or for myself!

Ah ok, she just wears like huge comfy things to be honest - like granny pants 😳. She says anything else is too uncomfortable. Maybe I can look for some nice ones. @RockinPop54
