I wish today never happened.

Don’t panic, they can sometimes take off for a bit but she could still turn up.

We are still looking for her. Today we called all Vets in our city and all animal shelters.
But nothing.
I work at a bar and today a customer said he saw a cat that looked like mine in a certain area, I went there but I couldn't find her.. I saw one similar but it wasn't her.
Heartbroken. 😭

Stay strong. Make flyers to distribute locally. Go out as frequently as you can throughout the day with some food and call out for her. Leave trails of food nearby,leading to your home. Hopefully she'll show up soon

Honestly understand but they come back. After a couple of hours or days even. They do have natural predator instincts and sometimes like to just go exploring or hunting. Leave a shirt or some article of clothing outside with your scent on it to help.

She might have got abducted by a teenager. My brother brought home a cat and put it in my room one night after he gone out drinking. The next morning me and mum had to discreetly drop it off where my brother found her the night before. I remember it well nearly 20 years later. Her name was puzzle.

As others have said, she may come back. Even if spayed, she may be on the prowl for male companionship. Worst case scenario is that encountered a predator or car she couldn't get away from, in which case you should be mourning and not feeling abandoned. If she doesn't return, there are lots of cats in the Humane Society shelters desperately needing adoption to save THEIR lives.

Give it time. She’ll come back.

Check everywhere you went AND cars, etc.

that happened to one of our cats when i was a child long ago, a male cat, he wandered off and we never found him, cats do go missing especially male cats.

And I wish April 13th, 2004 never happened, but it's too late to take it back now.

And if anyone's asking why that particular date, it's personal.

Put a box outside with kitty bedding or some of your Pjs in them— it can serve as a scent beacon for your lost kitty

I don't think they run away, but get lost... Put up flyers around the neighbourhood and hopefully someone will find her... Good luck

How long have you had her? How old is she? Sequoia's had me on edge,csometimes for days in a row when she was younger, but she always returned
