During the many years we have been together, the only time I felt insecure was in college. I only saw her once or twice a month, and she was dating others every week, as well as studying or just being with them every day. She told me not to worry, but I couldn't help it.

In the relationship I just recently ended, what made me feel the most insecure was his absolute disinterest in me. He pretty much ignored me unless he wanted to complain to me about something. He only had sex with me when he was drunk. He put literally everyone in his life above me.
I decided I'd be better off single.

@DearAmbellina2113 I see.
Did you like or enjoy sex when he was drunk? I mean were you okay with that level of intimacy?

@Fieldmaster not really but it was better than nothing.

@DearAmbellina2113 That's fair, true.
He clearly was not gaining any financial benefit from the relationship?
I think many couple stay in sexless relationship for various other reasons.
However ignoring the other person and or putting others needs always above yours is just crazy/insulting.
I thinking ignoring intkmacy/sexual needs of your partner is also insluting as what is the point of that relationship where there is no affection, intimacy or romance? I mean we could get lots friends who will put us above others helpout in life, no?

For the longest time, I worried he'd be like every other man I'd ever loved. Then, just when I was finally confident he was different, he let me know he was exactly and completely like the rest. *shurg*

How he is intermittently sweet and rude. How he takes offense to my feelings instead of ever caring and being kind or supportive about them. How he doesn't do what he says he will, then expects it to never matter.
How insecure he is.
How insecure he is.

@ScreamingFox That is like walking on egg shell? I am not sure how can a person take offense to someone's feeling? if a person feels certain way, that is how they do it?
Oh boy, insecurity leads to so many issues, and can really destroy a relationship, a person, as they are insecure, not happy or satisfied or afraid, keeping them on edge and becoming controlling.

Nothing. We’ve been through it all together. Ive got eyes for nobody else, and I still put the work in.
