I think it was back in 2010. I had just been divorced, and I joined a Singles Support Group. The ex had kept me pretty isolated, and I hadn't been allowed to socialize with anyone except HIS family and mine. When I was finally able to be social...after 25 years...it was like a butterfly emerging from her cocoon!! It was awesome!

When I was in grad school, my friend (first girlfriend when we were 11) stopped by and totally changed my attitude. She had that magical power to encourage people.
