What are you most afraid of?

I’ve been doing a lot of soul-searching for the past couple of years. I’ve come to realize that I’m afraid to hurt people that I love and I’m afraid to put myself first. I’m also afraid of change

I’m afraid that my soul-joy will one day appear and I won’t recognize it.

Being homeless.
Something like that would really screw my life over.

I suppose I am most afraid of ceasing to exist. I just love being here so much.

Right now, my greatest fear is anything happening to my son. I don't even know what I'd do if anything happened to him.

sex, dating, intimacy and adult romantic relationships.

closely followed by the high risks of losing everything to a woman if I was to have a relationship after two failed ones and it resulting in losing my house, my finances, my things, and perhaps also my kids.

Change started long before any of us was born. And likely the oldest fear that has ever existed.

If that doesn't help, think of how many trillions change has affected. It's more than just us.

Getting so old and decrepit I get put in a home against my will.

Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@MrSmartyPants that’s definitely something to be afraid of
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Those both seem like reasonable fears to me. I kinda think along the same line.

As the decades pass, less and less.
I'm most afraid of my son not having anyone. I'm also afraid of making the wrong choices because I don't have any backup.

losing independence, being dependent on another person for survival and having very low quality of life: apallic syndrome, blindness, being very sick and not being able to afford the treatment
stuff like that

Good question. To be bullied and be humilated.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
Dying alone in my house and nobody finds me for 3 days.
But ,then I'll be dead so... I probably won't care.
Ontheroad · M
Reaching a point in life where someone has to care for me. I have always been almost unable in the extreme to ask for help or even accept it.
Change will come. It is either change you make, direct or participate in or it is imposed.
Dying alone unloved!🤯😵‍💫😵
