Your "friend" suggested you get back with your abusive ex?

Get a new friend.
Ducky · 31-35, F
Doesn't sound like much a friend to me...

Is your friend a complete dumbfuck?
WiFiWitch · 41-45, F
Some friends should never be therapists
Pretzel · 61-69, M
no
and you need a new friend
smiler2012 · 56-60
[nebula] 🤔from a personal impartial view why would you do that and put yourself back in that position again that would be crazy. surely you cannot love a man who does such a thing and has non to little respect for you

People really have no idea if they haven’t been in an abusive relationship. If you must remain friends don’t discuss your private life with them.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
Of course you should not. Have some self-respect, not to mention some concern for your own safety. You can do better!!!
Lilred2289 · 31-35, F
Hell no! Being alone is better than that. Your friend isn’t a very good friend either.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
What was your friends motivation for this suggestion?
With friends like that, who needs enemies 🤷‍♀️
Never.
Abusers don't reform; they get worse.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Some friend that you have there.
PanteraTheCat · 18-21, F
Hell no! Know your worth!
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
Why would you?
Katie01 · F
If your friend thinks it's a good idea then I think you should give it a shot. Everyone deserves a second chance. A few of my abused exes have gotten back with me and it went well
Orca4950 · 70-79, M
Most likely not if I left. If I was the leftee and she wanted make up sex, sex yes by my rules.

Permanent return you require some new rules& roles i would think

That’s no friend. 🤨
No! Run in the other direction. Run like the wind! Nothing can ever compensate for abuse.
Orca4950 · 70-79, M
Ask your friend if your ex is hitting on her too often or too aggressive?
WillaKissing · 56-60
You need to fire that friend. That is not a friend that is a sadist.
PatKirby · M
With friends like that, who needs enemas.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@PatKirby I can think of a couple people.
you're not even friends to begin with
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M

I'd consider them an "ex" friend
Renaci · 36-40
Get rid of the ex and the "friend".
Lilnonames · F
Why? Seams like a losing cause. I'd rather b single than abused tell your friend to go with him
