Should be easier

Why is sleep so easy for some people and impossible for others.

Some people are highly stressed. Others over active thinking. It's dependent on your situation.

Each person is different though and what will work for one person might not work for others.

You do need to figure out the cause before you can figure out any solution.

I knew one person it was biological. He couldn't sleep more than two hours and eventually died in his thirties.

@DeWayfarer I am very stressed and my mind goes crazy when I try to sleep. I can't turn it off. I know the issues it's try trying to figure out how to fix it with out how to fix it

And fyi you last sentence scares me so much.

@Cigarguy101 Unless it's been a consistent thing your whole life don't worry about it. This guy had the same problem his whole life. It took him nearly thirty years to burn out.

@DeWayfarer I've struggled with insomnia most my life but no nothing like that person you are talking about. It's just really hard right now.

I worked my tush off in the field yesterday picking more rocks on 8 acres. We started picking about 8 am and was totally exhausted by 6 pm.

It was just 3 of us. I slept like I was in coma

I was saying I sleep easy after a day of hard labor. That what I mean
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
@HumanEarth every time I post something you comment on how you worked in a field moving rocks or you dug a hole for 12 hours a day. In fact I think you even told me I should have my kids out there digging. I don't find your comments helpful or funny or cute.

I work hard everyday and I'm exhausted physically and mentally at the end of the day and I still can't sleep. So please stop.

There are several factors with me my thoughts go 100 miles a minute and i have to ease my mind before i can actually sleep. Which sleep always lasts around 3 to 4 hours tops i always wake up at the exact same time no matter how late i get to bed or how tired i am with no no alarm clock its like my body just wants me up at that time.
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
@AngelUnforgiven this is my problem as well.

You possess an overactive mind.
Might be time to explore meditation techniques.
Perseverance is the key.
Never know until you try.

@Gusman I'm willing to try anything right now. Joel thinks I should talk to the neurologist about this when I see her again next week. I don't know if they can help with insomnia but it couldn't hurt to talk to her about it

My body hurts too badly to sleep. I get maybe three to four hours a night.
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
@HowtoDestroyAngels same here I never feel rested
