What happended to you school bully?

how did that person turn out? if it was you what is your epilogue?
I was never bullied. I don't know anyone who was except for this one kid. I don't know if he was continually bullied though. I just saw one incident of him being targeted by another guy. It was a private school. I have no idea what happened to him (the bully) though. He wasn't in my class.
Jessmari · 41-45
Mine was short lived. He liked to run his mouth in class to show off to his friends. One day he got a wild hair up his ass and called me out for a fight. Guy was twice my size, so i didn't wanna give him an advantage. Broke his nose immediately and dragged him out into the street in a headlock in front of traffic. I let him go and he walked off. I never saw him in class again.

Oddly enough his adoring fans were giving me tips on how to do a proper headlock. I guess i wasn't doing it right, but it worked all the same.

Literally the only fight I have ever had.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
I never was bullied in the sense of being frequently picked on. A bigger and older boy threw my cap onto the roof of a house when I was about eight years old but I was just a random victim, i don't think I ever saw him again.

I don't know if it was because the schools I attended in the sixties were better at stamping out bullying or that bullying simply became more prevalent in later decades but it does seem that it was less of a problem when, and where, I was at school than it has been for the last thirty or more years in the UK.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
The main bully is well over 400 pounds now
robertsnj · 56-60, M

@Jenny1234 Let me guess. She was really muscular as a kid, and then let herself go after school.

Died of pancreatic cancer in his late twenties. It was strange too because i never usually looked at the obits but that day i did and my friend called me to say that he had too.
@robertsnj I don't think you can catch cancer.
robertsnj · 56-60, M
@aboveaverageaveragejoe you are are right / sorry poor word choice
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@aboveaverageaveragejoe Back in the 1960s the minnesota DNR used agent orange as brush killer. It was being used in vietnam as a defoliant so was readily available. My father was a forest ranger that worked in beltrami county out of bemidji. All of the members in his crew (7 men) contracted pancreatic cancer. My father was thd third person to do so. The symptoms were identical to the first two men so he was referred to the mayo clinic where he was one of the first people to have his pancreas removed. He survived. He had to take insulin and an enzyme called viocase. It was quite expensive. He was studied by the government for the rest of his life. The other members of the crew died. He died from an aortic aneurism in 1986 after falling out of a deer stand.
Farmers used it to remove brush by roads and fences and wild rice producers also used it for killing weeds. Up at federal dam they flooded the rice fields with the poison laden water then released it into leech lake. It was soon discovered to be a mistake as it wiped out walleye feeding grounds on the north east side of the lake. The residue from agent orange does not break down quickly. It remains in the soil and likely will be an issue for many years. Agent orange was identified as a source of numerous cancers and was found to accumulate in the fatty tissues of fish and farm animals such as pigs. Cooking and eating these contaminated foods would in turn accumulate in humans and eventually lead to brain and pancreatic cancers.

Minnesota consequently define agent orange as cancer causing but the federal government refuses to do so as it would open itself to litigation.

I was never bullied. Shunned, yes...
robertsnj · 56-60, M
@RenFur talk to us about shunned. why were you shunned and by whom?
RenFur · 70-79, M
@robertsnj

I was a shy kid by nature. A loner. Small and a bit pudgy. I started school early plus I skipped a grade which made me 12 in grade 9. Then the pimples erupted... so where did I belong?
robertsnj · 56-60, M
wow mine died too! Crazy how that is coming out as a common theme. He killed himself in a car accident by drinking and driving. That was anumber of years after high school.

I caught bits and pieces on the back end. He kept getting into more trouble and more violence post high school. Probably was for the best that he checked out of life. Given his trajectory and propensity for violence I think it would have been a matter of time before he maimed or killed someone.

I remember in junior high he beating me up and a guy named Chris came over to help me out. He threw Chris on the ground and sat on him and bent Chris's wrist making him cry from the pain. He enjoyed torturing Chris by bending this wrist. We were too scared to help. He was just really a cruel person --figured that story is a good illustration of who he was.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
One got in a car wreck and died senior year.

One searched me down years later and actually apologized. Surprised the hell out of me, but I appreciated it.

The rest, don't know, couldn't care less.
robertsnj · 56-60, M
@SarahAndSamantha how did the deceased one bully you / how did the apologizer bully you? that was nice of the second person to say sorry
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@robertsnj I was the school scapegoat, so basically anyway they could think of.
Never got married, popped out 4 kids, and now sells MLM "beauty" products while living just down the road from me. Good news is that she was flooded out a few years ago.
robertsnj · 56-60, M

There weren’t any bullies at my school. People disagreed and fought, but were over it in a day or so usually.
SW-User
@robertsnj It wasn’t a particularly huge school, only 20 or so a grade level. So, that’s probably a big reason why.
robertsnj · 56-60, M
@SW-User yeah that makes sense! wow that is a small school !
SW-User
@robertsnj Yeah, small private school. There were people that didn’t fit in and kept to themselves, but we never bothered them.
Literally died of drug overdose.

The others I have no clue about. He just so happened to have lived in my town so I heard about it months after the fact.
robertsnj · 56-60, M

CuriousCouple25 · 51-55, CVIP
@robertsnj always threatening harm
Not sure. But last I heard he was a still shorter than me and a wife beater.
I hope his life changed.
@nonsensiclesnail It hasn't, unless there were finally consequences.
@LordShadowfire Last I heard anything about him I was all of 20, so one can hope hes not still a tiny little man child who likes to intimidate women. But, I agree. The chances are slim.
I just looked up his Facebook and he works at a distribution center, moved to Indians, and has two kids (bless their hearts).
robertsnj · 56-60, M

one of them died playing chicken with a train.

I made a post about it a couple weeks ago.

https://similarworlds.com/vehicles/trains/4943334-Have-you-ever-played-chicken-with-a-train
@DavidScott Yeah, it's like, the person died in a violent accident, but they weren't a nice person, so you just don't get the normal reaction. I get it.
DavidScott · 51-55, M
@LordShadowfire I remember vividly hearing about it. I was working at Little Caesars, I showed up for work and my coworker told me he died and how it happened. It was kind of a shock, but, like I said, he treated me and a lot of my other classmates like shit, so I wasn't sad about it. Then, several years later, I was in the same area drinking with my friends and decided to try it. The train honked at me and I jumped off the tracks. by the time I rolled down the hill, the train was already where I was standing. Those things move up on you fast. I remember hearing somewhere that it's hard to judge the speed of a train from in front of it because they're so much bigger than cars.
@DavidScott Well, I am glad you have good reflexes.
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
No clue to be honest… I don’t care enough to try and see
DiegoWolfe · 36-40
@CuriousCouple25 shit, i am so sorry for the insensitive way i asked.... No i never got to play that way....
I genuinely don't know what happened to any of them. But I'm guessing that since it was all psychological bullying, not physical, and they learned very early on how to do it without getting caught, they most likely went on to modest success in the corporate world, or maybe even politics.
@robertsnj There were six or eight of them. One of their favorite games was they would ask me to tell them a joke, and idiot me, I would start telling them. They would keep interrupting me with irrelevant questions that had nothing to do with the joke, and I would answer them as quickly as I could, then try to get back to the joke. Eventually, I would lose my temper and start screaming.
robertsnj · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire oh interesting they didn't just beat you up? I tend to think girl bullies taunt and guy bullies punch
@robertsnj Well, in my school, the guy bullies taunted. They got a lot of laughs out of it, and didn't get in trouble because I was the one yelling and screaming.
