I wish i was someone men actually wanted

I was once told that I'm "too nice of a guy". Basically there was this girl I liked at the Walmart when I was working there so this girls friend got us two together and then her and her BF got together and the 4 of us went out at 2am to a local diner.

I was nothing but kind, respectful, holding hands, little kisses here and there and all of a sudden she's gotta go bathroom. When she comes back she's completely different, standoffish, quiet, doesn't want to hold hands etc.

So next time when I went into work I saw her friend and said, what happened? Did I do something wrong? Her friend goes, she thinks you're too nice of a guy to be with. You didn't hit or yell at her. I'm like, oookay. But in my mind I'm going, seriously????

Well I'll never change from being a nice guy, because it's wrong to hit a woman. You open the door for a woman, when at a restaurant you pull the seat out for her to sit in, like I know how to treat a woman right. My problem is that I'm kind of clingy, but I don't see a problem with that.

I felt like that for years only finding that even at my size some men find you attractive put yourself out there

I'm happy not to have all the attention the hot babes get. I'd be nervous all the time if too many people were checking me out all the time.

I get it though. It's nice to feel wanted and desired. I hope you find someone who wants you for you. Keep trying! Don't give up.

There is a man for every woman out there but first that woman has to love herself.

Why men? Why not a man? You don't want men to want you. It will complicate life. There's no tranquility in shallow attention. You want that one man who sees you to want you. There's a universe in one person who carries love, genuine love. Be that person you'd cherish, and the other half will find you. Stay hopeful, no matter how painful life is.

…and…after you would have gone… through all these many men who wanted you…and their love and all the bs that comes with it… you d see that …being wanted by men is not what life is for and it was all waste of time, life, energy.. and ended in disappointment..and nothing. I know someone like that….

Being wanted is over rated anyway, it doesn't automatically come with being loved, which is what we really need
