How can I tell if my freind has turned to Atheism? [Spirituality & Religion]

I'm seeing my friend who has went off to uni and there seems to be subtle changes about her that make me wonder if she still respects Jesus. She still seems like a decent person but there are subtle differences. For one thing she has put on weight and now has purple colouring in her hair.

Also I think she may have got into drugs because she is so much paler than I remember (but I can't exactly come straight out and ask her that). Most worryingly of all tho is that she has got into Yoga which is from the Buddhists and that's a slippery slope into Atheism.

I haven't witnessed her kicking a cat or sneering or being anti social or anything obvious but I was wondering if all the little changes mean she's now an Atheist or at least becoming one? If that's the case how can I reach her before it's too late?

Also she's had a dolphin tattoo on her ankle

none of those things have anything to do with atheism.

also you are dangerously close to being a clear example of a toxic religious person even if she was atheist that doesn't mean she will instantly turn to drugs or whatever. you can always just ask your friend if she is still Christian or not and if the answer is no and you think less of her because of it then i think she's be better off without you as a friend.

@Sharon Hi there Sharon, Long term it doesn't do us atheist any good to never say anything bad of Islam , the struggles of Atheist in islamic countries is one that very badly needs our solidartiy.

However As I've said of my tendency to single Christians out for a point of criticism I live in the west And I freely admit that Our American eyes are privileged eyes and even more so than even the UK but here in the united states as it is in much of Europe no genuine danger to our rights exist from the Muslim community.

Sharia law is terrible, however it's not a Danger that we'll ever be placed under it's rule here in the west, and Frankly I know Americas character well, even if at times I hate her, if someone DID conquer us we'd launch every fucking nuke we had at our homeland. IF we can't have her no one will.

But to be frank its the fact that christians have the solidarity of young women like Indigo savage and so many young women in america are falling into being controlled by the christians that makes this particular religion a much greater danger to our freedoms.

Women to say they least are half the population and if a significant chunk of them buys into Christian nationalism we're in trouble because we live in a demoracy.

Putting on college weight does not make you an atheist. Makes you a college student. And if God, for some reason, it's purple hair dye oh, then I don't know what you're doing mixing textiles and eating shellfish.

Paleness is not an indication of drug use. It's an indication of being away from the sun, as in when someone studies.

Yoga is more associated with Hindu rather than Buddhism. Neither of which point towards Atheism.

Junkies also tend to loose weight not put it on. (In most cases anyway)

In a more serious note, you probably miss your old friend, how she was? Understandable. But she's gonna go her own way. You can go your own way too. You can choose to avoid those things and get friends who avoid those things. But I've seen Christians with weight, purple hair, pale skin, do yoga and tattoos on them, not necessarily a dolphin and on their ankle hahaha. And I've seen atheists avoid such things too.

You could just ask her. And if she has put on too much weight you could ask about that tool ignoring a friend's possible health problem is not very friendly. The same goes for her looking pale. If you are really friends then such questions are perfectly reasonable.

You can absolutely ask her about the drugs as a caring friend. You can say. " I miss you, How are you doing?I am so impressed you are pursuing a college degree, I hope you are surrounding yourself with great friends who are healthy and don't do drugs or cut class and stuff like that"
