Because there isn't a God. Simple! Nature is wonderful, I agree. But there is no God.

@1954zebedee Probably lots of gods and Yahweh/Jehovah/Allah is just one of them. But there is obviously an intelligence in the universe that makes things happen and everything is part of it. But that isn't a god.
Carazaa · F
@1954zebedee There is a God who loves us, who visited us, who died for u, and is preparing a place for us, and is coming again to take us there.
How breathtakingly lovely. And God even created Man, to love Him, and appreciate all the beauty of this earth, and to be its caretakers. He has blessed us, truly blessed us.

I can't take credit for the sentiment. I had a biology professor who would point out unpleasant realities and say " nature ain't always pretty"

@CookieLuvsBunny How lovely for you. He, and you, forgot to mention doodly doos.
Because it's not a compelling argument unless you already attribute nature to a god. Beauty is not necessarily indicative of a creator and even if it were it does not for instance allow you to distinguish whether that creator was your god or, for example, Allah.
...what?
According to Darwin, nothing can create such beauty short of the living God.

I am sad and so sorry, for everyone's loss. We see what this world looks like with evil [satan] in it. Evil is found in people's hearts and minds, not in our pure, sinless, Jesus. He is incapable of sinning. He loves us so much, that not even one hair falls from our scalp, that God is not aware of. God is not the Creator of evil. Neither is it in His nature, nor in His desire, to bring harm or evil on any. See John 3:16 & 17. I have lost children. I know Jesus told us that He has prepared and provided a place of beauty and safety...a heavenly home, for all our children, whom evil or sickness have claimed. We don't have to worry where they are. We have the comfort of knowing they are in safekeeping with God, until we reunite with them in heaven. They are happy, secure, peaceful, laughing, and loved like never before, up in Jesus' lap with His arms wrapped fully around them. It won't be long before we see them.
Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you, and not to harm you...plans to give you hope and a future."

Not only are there fires, hurricans, earthquakes, and other disasters, but like I have shared before if you ask me I believe we are having birth pains that are increasing in strength and frequency until Jesus comes. We might be raptured before he comes, or we might not, I don't know but God is giving us signs everyday that we are the last generation. How do I know? He said that these are the last signs. And when the world is like the time of Noah.
1. When the gospel has gone out to every people and tribe then the end.
2. When the entire world is violent
3. When the entire world is arrogant
4. When the entire world is loving themselves more than loving God
5. When there are great earthquakes in various places that there hadn't been before.
6. When there is a falling away from faith
7. When Israel gets their land back
8. When children are disrespectful to parents
9. When hearts are cold and stubborn
10.When there is increase in travelling back and forth
11.When there is an increase in plagues
12. When there is an increase in terrors
13. When wrong is right and there is a rise in lawnessness
14. When there are signs in heaven
15. When knowledge increases everywhere
16. When there are false teachings, and false prophets everywhere
17. When people want to die everywhere because they are so depressed
18. When people mock God
19. When persecuting Christians increases
20 When Satan stands in the Holy place and declares himself to be God and the entire world follows him and require everyone to take his mark or they can not shop.

You can't pick and choose, if there's a creator responsible for all the beauty he's also responsible for all the ugly things like diseases and natural disasters.
BTW.

I don't see anybody targeting anyone, I just see people sharing what means a lot to them and others who disagree being rather unpleasant. We're all on this planet together,so what if someone sees things differently, surely we can be nice to each other.
I couldn't have said it better, myself, Chrissie. Bravo! 🙌
@ChrissieMe I'm so sorry Chrissy. Not all are like this. Please don't be discouraged. I can't tell you how many times I've been cussed out hahahahaha or what have you, over some post. Some just don't have an understanding of things, and what they don't understand, they ridicule, criticize, and mock, or whatever. It doesn't matter at all because when you know who you are, it changes nothing. However, I always do emphasize that we must all be kind to each other. Who needs to yell or curse in order to get their point across?? That's silly and immature. Just a waste of breath and time, because by doing so, you really never get heard, and that's the whole purpose. We all deserve to be heard. Nobody benefits from irresponsible behavior/communication. You just have to understand the source, let it roll off your back like a duck in dirty water, and go "swimmingly" away, happily about your day. 🤭😂😂 It's neither here nor there. It's not a matter of life or death, here. 🤦♀️😂 It's what we permit it to be.

Note: It is clear that God did pronounce a curse. He cursed the serpent (vs 14) and the ground (vs 17). But the Bible never says that he cursed Adam or Eve. Some do say that they were cursed, but to do so they are reading something into the text that it does not specifically say.
Because of the fall of man, every part of God's creation was subjected to a curse (Romans 8:20). Under that curse, all creation groans: the ground was cursed, thorns and thistles and weeds began to grow, women labored painfully in childbirth, and death entered the world (Genesis 3:14-19).

1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
6Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
9Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
11Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. 12And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13So the evening and the morning were the third day.
14Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” 21So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
26Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
The Word of God.
"I think that when you consider the beauty of the world and you wonder how it came to be what it is, you are naturally overwhelmed with a feeling of awe, a feeling of admiration and you almost feel a desire to worship something. I feel this, I recognise that other scientists such as Carl Sagan feel this, Einstein felt it. We, all of us, share a kind of religious reverence for the beauties of the universe, for the complexity of life. For the sheer magnitude of the cosmos, the sheer magnitude of geological time. And it’s tempting to translate that feeling of awe and worship into a desire to worship some particular thing, a person, an agent. You want to attribute it to a maker, to a creator. What science has now achieved is an emancipation from that impulse to attribute these things to a creator"

"The heavens proclaim the glory ofGod.The skies display his craftsmanship." Psalms 19:1
Yes, that's something Richard Dawkins would say. God's reply to atheists is found in Psalms 14:1 - "The fool hath said in his heart,"There is no God." Even Mr. Dawkins shall believe, the second he steps from this world, into God's. When he dies, he can take nothing with him, and his "wisdom" plus all he treasured on earth, will not descend with him. Psalm 73:18-20
Mark 8:36-38 - For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also, shall Jesus be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
The universe looks exactly like there is no god.
