I'm not religious either but I love Jesus as my Lord and my Savior. These anti-God people get so wound up about it because God is real and it frustrates them because their unbelief doesn't change that fact.

Let me explain. Carazaa and Godspeed63 are under the impression that everyone is a willing or an unwitting follower of Jesus. Some of us find the suggestion offensive. They do not realize that we actually do not admire or believe in Christianity. And if we knew better we would repent before the upcoming rapture.

@ChrissieMe Because the religious always want power. So they slowly encroach on people's freedom until there comes a point where you are stone to death for loving the wrong person, wearing the wrong clothes, eating the wrong food. There are Christians for instance who literally state there goals is to overthrow the constitution and put old testament laws in place. So that is why people have to fight these people. Evil has to constantly be fought against.

@ChrissieMe Even that's bad enough but far too many christians try to force there beliefs onto others. That's especially objectionable when they target children and vulnerable people. How do you think christians would react if Satanists (for example) just shared what they believe in the same way as christians do?

In the UK, state schools are required by law to hold daily "roadly christian" religious assemblies of all the students. They are also required to teach christianity. As @canusernamebemyusername said above, that's why we have to stand up against these people.

@Sharon I don't see anybody targeting anyone, I just see people sharing what means a lot to them and others who disagree being rather unpleasant. We're all on this planet together,so what if someone sees things differently, surely we can be nice to each other

@ChrissieMe Several of the christians who post here often claim Atheists are "brain dead", "idiotic", "stupid", "uneducated" and worse. That's not just sharing their beliefs.

@ChrissieMe The problem is that they target the young and vulnerable with their propaganda, attempting to exploit them. It's important to challenge them and alert potential victims to the danger.

@ChrissieMe I'm so sorry Chrissy. Not all are like this. Please don't be discouraged. I can't tell you how many times I've been cussed out hahahahaha or what have you, over some post. Some just don't have an understanding of things, and what they don't understand, they ridicule, criticize, and mock, or whatever. It doesn't matter at all because when you know who you are, it changes nothing. However, I always do emphasize that we must all be kind to each other. Who needs to yell or curse in order to get their point across?? That's silly and immature. Just a waste of breath and time, because by doing so, you really never get heard, and that's the whole purpose. We all deserve to be heard. Nobody benefits from irresponsible behavior/communication. You just have to understand the source, let it roll off your back like a duck in dirty water, and go "swimmingly" away, happily about your day. 🤭😂😂 It's neither here nor there. It's not a matter of life or death, here. 🤦‍♀️😂 It's what we permit it to be.
