Nothing is self evident of god. Because god is not self evident. You have no definition that describes what or who god is. Only what you assume must be .Even life itself. We survive, and adapt to this world. How many life forms existed before us and didn’t survive?

@Entwistle I think our souls were created when we were conceived and will live forever with God in heaven if we love Jesus, and be separated from God in despair or destroyed entirely if we don't love Jesus. It is not entirely clear what will happen to the ungodly after judgment, but it is very clear that if your name is in the book of life you will live forever with God in heaven forever, in your own mansion prepared by Jesus himself, and you will have no more sorrow ever.

@Carazaa If souls were created then they had a beginning. All Things thay jave a beginning have an ending. Your only alternative is to say souls have always existed,so they must be as old as God.

@Entwistle No God created the world 6000 years ago according to the Bible, and before that there was no world. There is a lot of guesses otherwise but the Bible is clear on that.

@Carazaa So once in heaven our happiness never changes? It never increases or decreases? If it does either then it changes and isn't eternal.

@Entwistle Who says anything about changes. Eternal means it won't stop. It could fluctuate, and why does that matter to you so much? The amazing thing is it will go on forever. There won't be any death any more. I am thrilled about that part.

@Carazaa Because movement is change. If the soul was created then it will change and will always be changing. Nothing exists unchanging for even a moment.

@Entwistle Ok that might be true. But that has nothing to do with souls dying. God tells us that we will live forever in heaven.
