This is a die hard truth.
Years ago, I was in a relationship with a guy who had a 7 yr old daughter. He had raised her by himself since she was 8 wks old, but she still visited her mother (who lived in Washington state) regularly. When she was 10, she asked her father if she could permanently live with her mom. He agreed, since she was on the verge of becoming a young woman and would benefit from having her mother's guidance.
When we flew the daughter up to Washington, I got to meet her mother and the mother's new husband. IMMEDIATELY I got bad vibes from the stepdad. He was erratic, seemed unstable, and I could literally feel that he was hiding his real self. I even asked my bf after we left, "So... that Sean guy... are you comfortable leaving your child with him?" He waved it off and just said "Oh, he's harmless, that's just how he is."
Yeah. Well.
Four years later, that stepdad murdered bf's daughter, then shot himself. I wish my bf had taken my feelings seriously.

The other day. A person sent me one email after another all day..like dude I'll respond when I respond. The coversation was weird and I just felt uncomfortable. I'd get a sinking feeling everytime they'd message me. It was obsessive and red flags where popping up everywhere. Intuition I guess.

Y'all aren't going to believe this one, but I'm going to tell it, anyway.
It was 2002. I had walked down to the 7-Eleven near my house, and I was wearing a Darth Vader T-shirt. This really hairy guy with pronounced canine teeth saw my shirt, and he started talking about his brother's Star Wars collection. Said he had the biggest, most complete collection of anybody he knew. All the action figures, all the spaceships, all the playsets. All still in the box. I was jealous.
AND THEN...
Then he told me about the crown Jewel in his brother's collection. A full size working model of an X-Wing fighter. He said his brother had built it himself.
At this point, I didn't know what was wrong with this guy, but my instincts told me to shut up, smile and nod, and keep listening, because this was about to get good.
And sure enough, this guy wove a story of galactic proportions. He told me about the time he borrowed his brother's X-Wing without his permission, and took it for a test flight. It was a rough one, you see, because the Air Force got involved. They tried the radio him, but because X-Wings operate on a different radio frequency, he couldn't hear them, they couldn't hear him. They shot at him, and he barely got the X-Wing back to his brother's garage before they shot him down.
I am sure this fine individual would have provided me with endlessly entertaining tales of adventure in his brother's X-Wing, but right about then, another guy came out of his car, saw him talking to me, and said, "What are you doing? She's waiting!"

@HootyTheNightOwl for the current amount of entertainment here? Yes.
@NerdyPotato 30 minutes isn't that long, given how bad the algorithm here is, though.
@HootyTheNightOwl true, and it's starting already 😲

One minute smiling and all friendly, next mad and aggravated, after that smiling again.
Also, the second I saw Kenneth Copeland's face expressions.
