Fundamentally how do maga view liberals?

It seems as if they don't even see them as human.

I've seen terms like vermin thrown so easily.

They will engage in genocide if they get the chance.

I'm not maga but I am conservative. I view most liberals as people who have a different set of fundamental beliefs and sometimes moral values than I do, does this make them "wrong"? Well in my view yes, does this make them "bad people" not necessarily. I chose to vote for Trump because I did not like the path that I believed Harris would have taken our country, this does not mean I agree with everything Trump has or will do, I wish I had a valid third choice, a conservative who wasn't quite so full of himself but sadly such a candidate did not exist so I held my nose and voted for him. I can only hope for a better option in the future as I don't think we have really had any good options since Bush.

I like to think that some of the disgusting terms they use are copied and pasted from the media without any real thought. Perhaps I am being too generous, but I need to assume the best in all people.
@SunshineGirl Somehow, someone disapproves that you give people the benefit of a doubt. That illustrates just how divided the world is now. 🥺

The first step in any control program is to separate "them" from "us"... Once you start seeing them as different, the rest is easy...

The classic liberals are more aligned with magas than you think. They are for personal freedom and less government interference, and do no harm. The schism happened when progressives injected themselves into the liberal movement. Think communism light.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@3Dogmatic Classical Liberals, would never agree with Donald Trump. I don't know how you got to this reasoning, but nothing in classical liberalism supports the MAGA movement. If you think Personal Freedom and less governement interference is happening with MAGA, then just explain to everybody why the state took away the right of individuals to make a descision about abortion. Or how the state is declaring protests illegale. Or how the state is bringing God back into their descision making. Or how the state is actively interfering with history classes, because what historians found to be true interjects with some nationalist fantasy. MAGA isn't individualistic, it doesn't support individual freedom, and it deff. doesn't support less governement interference... what have you been smoking the last 11 years?
@3Dogmatic Conservatives are the ones who don’t see a difference between liberals and progressives. You can tell because they’ll call anyone who supports equal rights for women and people of color "Communists” (‘light' or otherwise).🙄

@Kwek00

If that is true, you shouldn't have voted for the MAGA program. If you voted for Trump,

I did not vote for Trump.

@Elisbch Well, that's cool then. that's why there is an "IF", and I wasn't adressing you personally, I was adressing everyone when I wrote that. I might have typed "you", but I mean the communal "you". Sorry if that wasn't clear.

@Kwek00

Understood... no harm done. I appreciate you clearing that up. Thank you! 🤝🏻🙂

I'm not maga but in general that's how a conservative sees a liberal
BabyLonia · F
Did you hear about the Sen. Mike Lee who made a joke tweet about the assassinations?

I am disgusted. Simply disgusted that they are celebrating these murders.
@BabyLonia And these are the same people scolding folks for criticizing Trump.

Like how the antisemitic movie Jud Suss depicts the Jewish people, it's an example of blindly commenting on themselves, imo.

@BrandNewMan

this past weekend s democrat killing a democratic MN state representative and her husband? The killer is a former member of Waltz's administration no less

Stop lying. His friends and colleagues, who would know him better that you, made it clear he is not a Democrat. And an unpaid appointed position to a mere advisory board is a far cry from being part of the governor's cabinet.

... Friends and former colleagues interviewed by AP described Boelter as a devout Christian who attended an evangelical church and went to campaign rallies for President Donald Trump. Records show Boelter registered to vote as a Republican while living in Oklahoma in 2004 before moving to Minnesota where voters don’t list party affiliation ....

@catastrophecarnival Someone said this a while ago... I think they are right:

MAGA is build grievance, at it’s core MAGA is not a political ideology. It’s a trauma group for people who think that other people existing is oppression. They are not protesting government overreach, they are protesting the idea that they are not the default setting of humanity.

[…] MAGA is an identity, not a believe. In 1945 Germans were trying to figure out what they were without “the reich”. MAGA already knows, they are the reich… but, you know, with better branding and more bumperstickers. They don’t support Trump for what he does, they support him because he makes their enemies cry. Their identity is tied too his ability to inflict humiliation on others.

In this scenario, we are not trying to deprogram a bad opinion. We are threatening someone’s entire sense of self. It’s not: “I believe in Trump”, it’s: “Without Trump I’m nobody.”. And we also need to keep in mind that MAGA just runs on delusions. And this is the most dangerous part. They don’t want to be right, they want to feel righteous.

@Ferise1 The guy who created this post also belongs to the Third world and looks stressed about strong policies of DJT.

@Ferise1 Not quite the drama queen, just need to look at history, the same language, the same dehumanisation.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@Peterthe1 Some third world countries are doing a lot better in terms of democratic norms at the moment, shouldn't there be a bit of shame in making that comment?
