What is something your gender is known for, but you have never identified with/liked?

Know how to fix things. I wouldn't know which end of a screw driver to hold.
I don't like football.
I actually know how to cook and clean.
I don't mind shopping.
Beer is gross, I don't drink it or much of any alcohol actually.
A woman can appear topless before me and I can maintain eye contact. Although I may blush and giggle like a child afterwards.

i am not into ball sports. I don't have a fantasy football draft or know anything about any of teams. Did not follow March Madness.

I am not much of a drinker. Almost never drink.

i am over 50 and can still touch my toes and hold my hands behind my back. Think it is ok to have some flexabilty in older age as a man.

love dogs but really a big cat guy. Can bond not just with my cats but with most people's cat. I even did cat sitting in the last few years

don't feel a need to act tough. I don't really find value in posturing as a man.

Same. If I do my nails, it is generally just clear polish and trimmed fairly short. My hair is pretty basic. Shoulder length or slightly more. Down straight or in a Navy bun.

The whole manicure/pedicure/spa/massage stuff gives me the willies. Couldn’t do it. I’m not a domestic goddess, I’m a hit n miss cook, suck at crafts, kill a distressing number of plants, would break my neck trying to walk in stilettos, and my sister had to teach me how the garters worked when I was getting dressed for my wedding. And I’m not at all fond of pink. 😑

Same here, have never been to a nail salon. I couldn’t tolerate the chemicals they use for the nails even if I wanted to get them. Some of those chemicals are carcinogens. I knew a girl who lost her mother to cancer caused by the chemicals she used in a nail salon, her mother was in her early 30’s. I am also sensitive to formaldehyde in nail products…causes me to have bronchitis for as long as it is on my nails. I bought something to make them grow and that’s what happened.

I’m not into fancy jewelry either. I think it’s pretty when others wear it but I’ve never been one to fuss around worrying about what if I lose something like that. I worked with someone who was either losing a diamond or an earring falling out etc.

I’ve never really been a girly girl. I don’t wear dresses (well very rarely), I don’t wear makeup, I don’t really do my hair or I don’t get fake nails.

Taking hours and hours to get ready to go out…
clothes shopping in a town, I hate it. I want to get what I need and get the hell out of there!

Sports. Sweaty men moving a ball around has never piqued my interest, as a participant or spectator.

Heavy makeup -all I use is a skin tint. I'd rather work on my skin than slather paint on it.

Same here. What cosmetics I have are applied at home, to my own tastes. I hate the idea of spending money and hours in the hands of a professional. Much more fun to do make up with my daughter anyway 🙂

Wearing a lot of make-up. I prefer to be natural. A little mascara and some chap stick works for me.

I have only a modest interest in professional sports. I am also not a handyman by any means.

And I couldn't care less about what car a person drives.

Never wearing the same outfit twice. I can't afford a new wardrobe every week.

I’m a pianist and so keep my nails short. But I also don’t wear a lot of make up, unless for a special occasion. I dress modestly, I don’t really seek attention from strangers. I also consider myself a fairly logical person, so it annoys me a bit that women are stereotyped as being [b]illogical [/b].
I’m seen many more men behave illogically, especially in search of gratification.
