It’s not healthy if you’re hurting people
Anger is natural and for me I tell myself, anger is a secondary emotion.
being · 36-40, F
@MarbleMarvel how do you mean secondary?
@being that it usually starts as something else. Sadness, grief, disappointment, continued frustration... Something lead us to anger, anger is the byproduct, therefore I believe, just. As long as we do no harm.

I've lived more than a decade with the mantra
Until finally 2024 that I said
do not quit, rest
Until finally 2024 that I said
okay you're allowed to quit too
Lol

It is a justified emotion in at least some cases. It can become unhealthy.

Life is change.
Don't change, you don't exist.
A true void is impossible.

@basilfawlty89 Yes.
1. Work on yourself that you never get angry.
2. If you got angry, don't hold on to it.

@ABCDEF7 I'm sorry, but I disagree. Accept that you will inevitably feel angry. It's part of life. It's like saying you'll never feel anxious again. It's not sustainable. We all are entitled to our emotions.

@basilfawlty89 Did I sounded like you will never get angry? And that's why I said to never hold on to anger? When you never get angry, what is the need to tell not to hold on to anger?
Or do you want to say we should not work on ourselves, so we don't get angry?
You are talking how much you know the world, people and yourself. It's ok for you to think like that. 🙏
Take care. :)

Phil Anselmo said it best:
The releasing of anger, can better any medicine under the sun.

You are missing 'un'
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@basilfawlty89 I want to understand it seriously. I get angry very quickly because I have no patience because of my childhood experiences. I am easy to get mad at almost every situation. I want to control it but not hold it inside me as that I know for sure is fatal.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Donotfolowme look into cognitive distortions. Bear in mind that events, lead to thoughts, which leads to feelings which lead to behaviour. We cannot control events, we cannot control our thoughts. But we can analyze and challenge our thoughts which will change our feelings. And even if it doesn't completely, we ALWAYS have control of our actions.

@basilfawlty89 okay thank you!
