I have a ritual, unfortunately dictated by my European tankless water heater. Probably more of a thermostat issue than a water heater, but I haven't been able to find a plumber willing tackle the problem. Anyway, it gets me coming and going. The plumbers located the heater too far from the bathrooms (something about running the gas line to the heater) and then didn't insulate the pipes. So in cold weather, it takes awhile to heat up the pipes before you really get hot water. So the beginning of the ritual is to stand back aways while the water is heating up while wetting my hair and shampooing it. Then as soon as it is up to an acceptable warmth level, get under the shower spray, lather up, and rinse off, as quickly as possible because during cold weather in particular (but possibly anytime) it the water temp will start to drop and then plunge to cold. Requiring resetting the thermostat, which , of course, is in the other bathroom and inside a cupboard unreachable from that shower even if I were to switch bathrooms.

I’m all about business when I’m in there. Start at my feet work my way up. I use African soap that is abrasive. In and out. I shave what all needs shaving before I even get in

I like to lie in the bath with a flannel over my face 🛀 My daughter likes to come into the bathroom for a chat or we might read together. Either way is fine 😌

I'm lucky if I have time for a shower. I have no time for frills, it's wash and out.

I recommend saving time by washing your clothes at the same time. 👍

I vastly prefer a shower to a bath, but there's only a bath in my flat. I tend not to linger in it for longer than strictly necessary. I always feel much cleaner and more energised after a shower, and there's no hanging around twiddling your thumbs while waiting for it to fill!

Wet my headfirst and shampoo it rubbing the shampoo through my hair and scalp. then soap down and shave what needs shaved. I rinse my hair out last.

I am a quickie in the shower.

For baths, it is an investment of hot water, so I linger.

throw in 3 Bath bombs (non violent type lol) pour a glass of wine, tie my hair up put some music on and luxuriate for as long as I can

Occasionally I will linger longer in the shower and let the warm water massage my back. Other than that I am in and out.

For me, it's about getting clean. But I understand those who like to take time to relax and unwind.

If I am achy I’ll have a nice hot bath with Epsom salts. If I’m ok I’ll take a hot long shower 👍🙂

The most I ever do is put on a YouTube video to listen to while I get ready 🤷‍♂️

5 minutes no more than 10 in the shower. Water is precious.

I usually shower fairly quickly

In and out unless I need to shave. Sometimes I even wash my feet
