Aspects of the US are certainly better, again I never thought I'd say that but our current PM is unbelievably spineless. The opposition took the piss out of the people for 10 years when they were in power. The third party who should be making hay are invisible right now. And there is a rise in a fourth (new) party considered by many to be right wing and maybe racist but they are making the most sense right now. (It's UK Independence the one supported by Elon Musk.)
@Vin53 I know that. He's one of the ones who blocked me within a few months after I first got here back in the day, and he's apparently decided to give me a second chance.
