You know, it's funny. This arrived in my feed on Facebook yesterday, and I feel like it is a good answer for right here:
@LordShadowfire I know Critical Race Theory isn't the evil boogeyman that the Right made it out to be, but this is an actual criticism I have of Critical Theory. It often ignores intersectionality. Its easier to be a cishet man than a cishet woman, but it's harder to be a gay man than a gay woman. And that's just generally speaking, there are situations where female privilege is a thing and male privilege isn't.

@BohemianBabe There are always exceptions. I've known people in my past who would have given more of a pass to a bisexual man than to a gay man, so I would have more privilege with them. This is just more of a generalized "on average" privilege chart.
@LordShadowfire The benefits that women have over men usually are exceptions. Patriarchy harms everyone, but it mostly harms women more.
But when it comes to homophobia, I'd say it's always worse for men than women.
And as you know, I think the racial situation has changed a lot since the fifties.

Body size is also a weird one because that changes drastically between place and period.

@LordShadowfire Ok I've worked out that the closer you are to the centre the more privileged you're supposed to be but it really depends on your country in most cases. Also the wheel being uniform implies that (let's pick 2 daft ones) being 'white' is as privileged as being 'rich'. This wheel is an interesting thing but wrong in many ways.

@GeniUs Right, sorry. I should have said. This is mostly for the US, not globally. These are things people have privilege for in the US. So maybe that's why you think they are "daft".
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire That does make a big difference; I'm in the UK and the welfare state reverses a lot of these for example having free healthcare makes the neuro diverse, mental health, ability, around. However in the US I would say skin colour, religion, sexuality, gender, all depends on the state.
There are some I agree with without question; wealth, education, and appearance are (almost I remember Cambodia) universal.
I'm not saying I think the UK is better, things have been in the news this week where I actually feel disgusted by my country and I never thought I'd ever say that.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@GeniUs Yeah, well, I'm saying the UK is better than what's going on in the US right now. It ain't perfect, but what is, am I right?

Aspects of the US are certainly better, again I never thought I'd say that but our current PM is unbelievably spineless. The opposition took the piss out of the people for 10 years when they were in power. The third party who should be making hay are invisible right now. And there is a rise in a fourth (new) party considered by many to be right wing and maybe racist but they are making the most sense right now. (It's UK Independence the one supported by Elon Musk.)
