What's your definition of old?

We've survived long enough to be considered old, but haven't yet become feeble or incapable of engaging in conversation.
This is a place to share experiences (which we havein abundance) and to support others (which we've learned to do for our family and/or friends over the years).

We get a seniors' discount.

I know that young women in your age cohort generally get a hard time from perverts here - but some of us are "age-blind" and enjoy genuine cross-generational interaction.

Many came from even older sites.

I've been on the Internet for over 35 years. I seen many sites come and go.

I probably wasn’t what you’d call old (28) when this site was born, and I’ve been here from the beginning. And I for sure wasn’t old when I joined this site’s precursor, Experience Project a few years before that.

Just because we are old doesn't mean we don't care about what young people think and do.

Firstly, we have time, and are bored. We also hope to find someone to sext with...you know it's true, fellow oldies. And we are annoyingly pedantic. It is why are there, not why is there!!

A lot of us remember when not using our real names on social media was common on the internet and appreciate some modicum of internet privacy still existing.
